Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal healthcare datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for program optimization
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R to ensure data integrity and accessibility
- Create comprehensive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive leadership review
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, FISMA, and other federal data security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical findings into actionable policy recommendations
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and audit trails for all data processes and methodologies
- Stay current with evolving federal data standards and emerging analytics technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of professional data analysis experience in government or regulated healthcare environment
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Expertise in data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js)
- Proven ability to manage sensitive datasets with strict compliance requirements
- Experience with federal reporting frameworks and documentation standards
