Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify security trends and operational inefficiencies
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for leadership decision-making
- Ensure compliance with federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-agency task forces on national security initiatives
- Present findings to senior officials through executive briefings
- Maintain secure data systems following federal cybersecurity protocols
- Mentor junior analysts on best practices in federal data governance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years experience with SQL, Python, and R for data analysis
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI for data visualization
- Familiarity with federal reporting requirements (e.g., OMB directives)
- Experience with large-scale datasets (10M+ records)
- Certification in data analytics (e.g., SAS, AWS Data Analytics)
