Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to support strategic homeland security operations
- Design and implement data models for predictive analytics and trend identification
- Generate comprehensive reports and visualizations for senior leadership review
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to integrate data systems and improve workflows
- Develop automated data pipelines for real-time monitoring and alert systems
- Present findings to stakeholders through executive dashboards and briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in federal government data analysis or similar regulated environment
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Expert knowledge of federal data privacy laws and security protocols
- Strong statistical analysis skills with experience in large-scale datasets
- Certification in CISSP or CIPP/E highly desirable
