Responsibilities
- Analyze federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards in Tableau/Power BI for stakeholder reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytical requirements
- Document methodologies and validate data integrity through rigorous QC processes
- Present findings to senior leadership in clear, concise reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with federal/state government data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and statistical analysis tools
- Strong knowledge of healthcare data systems (Medicare/Medicaid datasets preferred)
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks
- Ability to manage competing deadlines with flexible scheduling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
