Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify trends and support strategic decision-making
- Develop automated reporting tools using SQL, Python, and R for agency stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliverables
- Create executive dashboards and visualizations for congressional briefings
- Conduct statistical modeling for predictive analysis on public safety initiatives
- Document data processes and maintain data integrity protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau)
- Strong knowledge of federal compliance regulations and security protocols
- Experience with geospatial analysis and GIS mapping technologies
- Certification in CISSP or similar data security credential (highly desirable)
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
