Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify security trends and patterns
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive decision-making
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards including FISMA and HIPAA
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support disaster response and emergency management initiatives
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling visual narratives and statistical summaries
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control procedures and documentation
- Stay current with evolving federal data privacy regulations and analytical methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with government/federal sector exposure
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Advanced skills in data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data systems (e.g., DHS databases, FedRAMP environments)
- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, 24 C.F.R. Part 60)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (required)
