Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns supporting federal operations
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for real-time reporting
- Create compelling visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings to senior leadership
- Ensure all data handling adheres to FISMA, HIPAA, and federal privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement data security protocols and access controls
- Present analytical findings to stakeholders through executive dashboards and briefing documents
- Maintain documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analytical processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Experience with large-scale data processing in cloud environments (AWS/GCP)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to regulatory compliance
