Responsibilities
- Analyze federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends in public health metrics
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive leadership using Tableau and Power BI
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and federal data privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support pandemic response and chronic disease prevention programs
- Develop automated data pipelines to streamline reporting processes
- Present findings to congressional stakeholders and federal agency directors
- Validate data integrity against federal standards (NIST, CMS guidelines)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field
- 3+ years experience in government or healthcare data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy)
- Familiarity with federal data systems (Medicare, Medicaid, CDC databases)
- Tableau or Power BI certification preferred
- Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance
- Experience with spatial data analysis (GIS) a plus
- Demonstrated knowledge of 21st Century Cures Act requirements
