Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders using Tableau/Power BI
- Prepare comprehensive statistical reports and briefings for congressional committees and agency leadership
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous quality control and validation protocols
- Adhere to FISMA, HIPAA, and OMB guidelines for secure data handling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics with strategic objectives
- Maintain documentation of methodologies and analytical workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience analyzing federal/municipal datasets
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy)
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with federal reporting requirements (OMB, GAO)
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
- Active U.S. government security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Certification in data analytics (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics) preferred
