Responsibilities
- Analyze federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards in Tableau for VA leadership decision-making
- Ensure compliance with federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on veteran population health studies
- Present findings to senior officials with clear data visualizations
- Maintain data integrity across VA's secure cloud infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal healthcare datasets or VA systems
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and statistical analysis
- Tableau/Power BI certification with portfolio of federal projects
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with FISMA compliance protocols
