Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support strategic planning initiatives
- Design and implement automated data pipelines using Python/SQL
- Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for congressional oversight committees
- Maintain data security protocols and audit trails
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal data systems and compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with OMB statistical standards and Census methodologies
- Strong analytical writing skills for technical documentation
- Experience with AWS/GCP data warehousing solutions
