Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and statistical tools to identify trends and anomalies
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for federal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support evidence-based decision-making
- Present findings to senior officials through clear visualizations and executive summaries
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for federal reporting systems
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support agency objectives and policy development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience, preferably in government/public sector
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and statistical analysis
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data standards (FIPS, NCES) and compliance frameworks
