Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and statistical modeling tools
- Develop automated data pipelines to ensure real-time reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Create interactive visualizations (Tableau/Power BI) for executive briefings and congressional reports
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, HIPAA, and other federal data governance standards
- Present findings to senior leadership with clear, actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain data security protocols and system integrations
- Lead ad-hoc analysis projects responding to emerging public health priorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Policy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and statistical analysis software
- Certification in data visualization (Tableau/Power BI) and federal compliance standards
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale healthcare or public administration data
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of federal reporting requirements (OMB, GAO, HHS guidelines)
