Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and strategic opportunities
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for federal reporting requirements
- Create compelling visualizations and dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to deliver data-driven recommendations
- Document methodologies, processes, and findings in accordance with federal audit protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal datasets and compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design
- Familiarity with federal data standards (FIPS, NIEM, FedRAMP)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Top Secret/SBI preferred)
- Proven track record of delivering high-stakes analytical projects under tight deadlines
