Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical methods
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and KPIs
- Document data lineage and maintain robust data governance frameworks
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling data narratives
- Continuously optimize data pipelines and analytical workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal/government data
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau)
- Deep understanding of federal data regulations and privacy standards
- Strong statistical modeling and hypothesis testing capabilities
- Proven ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations
- Certification in data governance (e.g., CDMP) or federal compliance a plus
