Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to support agency decision-making
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal privacy regulations (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise reports and presentations
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data pipelines and storage solutions
- Stay current on federal data standards and emerging analytical methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Policy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal/government data analysis or regulated industries
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Certification in data visualization (Tableau/Power BI) or federal compliance (e.g., CIPP)
- Strong understanding of federal data governance frameworks and audit requirements
