Responsibilities
- Analyze and visualize large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to support homeland security operations
- Develop interactive dashboards for executive decision-making using Tableau and Power BI
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal privacy regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to identify emerging threats through pattern recognition
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive summaries
- Maintain documentation of data methodologies and analytical frameworks
- Participate in agile sprints to deliver iterative improvements to analytical models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data analysis and compliance protocols
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI required
- Demonstrated ability to work with classified data under NISP guidelines
- Experience with geospatial analysis tools (ArcGIS, QGIS)
