Responsibilities
- Analyze federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for stakeholder reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (HIPAA, FISMA, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Develop automated data pipelines for real-time monitoring systems
- Present findings to cross-functional teams using storytelling methodologies
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation protocols
- Collaborate with epidemiologists on public health impact assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field
- 3+ years experience analyzing federal/state government datasets
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and visualization tools
- Certification in federal data security protocols (e.g., CIPP/E)
- Strong understanding of healthcare data structures (ICD-10, HCPCS)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) for data warehousing
