Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets using advanced statistical methods to identify trends and patterns
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for senior leadership decision-making
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize data collection and reporting protocols
- Present findings to congressional committees and federal stakeholders through compelling visualizations
- Implement data security protocols and conduct regular audits for classified information
- Maintain and optimize SQL databases for federal compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience with federal data analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Familiarity with federal data standards (FIPS, NIST frameworks)
- Experience with large-scale dataset management (>10TB)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in data analytics or cybersecurity (CompTIA Security+, CISSP) preferred
