Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to support defense strategy
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive decision-making
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to identify trends and anomalies in defense operations data
- Present findings to senior leadership through clear, concise visualizations and documentation
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and quality control procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal/government data analysis with security clearance eligibility
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Advanced skills in data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data regulations (HIPAA, PII handling, 5 CFR Part 2635)
