Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal healthcare data using SQL, Python, and R to support veteran care initiatives
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for VA leadership and compliance monitoring
- Ensure data integrity across federal systems and maintain strict FISMA compliance protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize federal data collection methodologies
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive visualizations and policy briefings
- Support federal grant reporting requirements and performance metric tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with federal data systems (VA, CMS, or DoD preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Active security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain one
- Expertise in federal compliance standards (FISMA, HIPAA, 21st Century Cures Act)
