Responsibilities
- Analyze federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced visualization tools to support homeland security operations
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines ensuring compliance with federal privacy regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Prepare comprehensive analytical reports and dashboards for senior leadership and congressional briefings
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize data governance frameworks and quality metrics
- Lead ad-hoc research projects using statistical modeling to identify emerging threats and trends
- Ensure all deliverables meet federal accessibility standards and documentation requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal data analysis with demonstrated knowledge of 5 CFR Part 2635
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and Tableau/Power BI
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Certification in federal data management (e.g., CDMP, CIPM) or equivalent experience
- Experience with geospatial analysis and GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST)
