Responsibilities
- Data Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of federal datasets, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and strict compliance with government standards (NIST/FISMA).
- Analytics & Visualization: Conduct advanced statistical analysis and generate executive-level reports using Tableau and Power BI to support policy formulation and performance monitoring.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for government clients and internal leadership through compelling presentations and dashboards.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data workflows and implement automated solutions to enhance productivity and data retrieval speed.
- Compliance & Security: Maintain adherence to security protocols and data privacy regulations, ensuring all data handling meets federal security requirements.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor emerging data trends and market indicators to provide predictive insights for future federal program planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in data analysis, specifically within the federal sector or a cleared environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in SQL for complex querying and Python or R for statistical modeling and data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or SAS.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
