Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and statistical modeling tools
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for executive stakeholders across federal departments
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to identify data-driven solutions for public sector challenges
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling visualizations and executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control protocols and documentation
- Stay current on evolving federal data regulations and analytical methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets or government programs
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Active or ability to obtain federal security clearance (required)
- Proven experience with statistical modeling and predictive analytics
- Familiarity with federal data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in data analysis or federal compliance (e.g., CDMP, CIPP) preferred
