Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST) and agency-specific regulations.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to define data requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders to communicate findings effectively.
- Perform data cleaning, integration, and validation processes to support ongoing projects and audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating databases; experience with Python or R is highly preferred.
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and reporting software.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (or equivalent) is required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
