Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large-scale federal datasets from various sources (SQL, APIs, legacy systems).
- Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for federal stakeholders.
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and correlations within government data.
- Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to non-technical leadership and policy makers.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with federal data governance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and improve reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and data manipulation.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Experience with programming languages like Python or R for advanced data analysis.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret clearance (TS/SCI clearance preferred).
