Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large volumes of federal data to ensure high accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI) to visualize key performance indicators and trends.
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and report on project progress.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security protocols, data governance policies, and privacy laws (e.g., FISMA).
- Document data processes and create technical reports for internal and external audiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and querying; experience with Python or R is highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI.
- Familiarity with federal data standards and security compliance requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
