Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and federal data security standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on population health studies
- Prepare comprehensive reports for Congressional committees and OMB
- Maintain data integrity through automated validation pipelines
- Mentor junior analysts on federal data governance protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal healthcare datasets (Medicare/Medicaid)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and statistical modeling
- FISMA/FedRAMP security clearance or ability to obtain
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with federal reporting requirements (e.g., GAO, OMB)
