In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of federal data, translating raw information into strategic insights that drive policy decisions and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale datasets from federal systems to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and optimize reporting processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data security standards and compliance regulations (e.g., FedRAMP).
- Conduct statistical analysis to support program evaluations and performance metrics.
- Document data models and analytical methodologies to ensure knowledge transfer and reproducibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense sector.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy laws, and security protocols.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) if required.
