Responsibilities
- Perform advanced data cleaning, transformation, and analysis using Python, R, or SAS.
- Develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards in Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth statistical modeling to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within federal datasets.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data security standards, compliance regulations (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP), and data integrity protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data pipelines and improve system architecture.
- Generate comprehensive technical reports and executive summaries for senior leadership.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of new data analytics tools and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data analysis, data science, or a related role within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and data extraction.
- Expertise in at least one programming language (Python or R) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik) is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
