Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Integration: Gather, clean, and integrate complex datasets from various federal and internal sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Visualization & Reporting: Design and develop interactive dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to federal regulations, security protocols, and NIST standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with program managers and technical teams to define data requirements and solve complex business problems.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation and data dictionaries to support system maintenance and future analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
