Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Data Analysis: Collect, cleanse, and analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support decision-making processes.
- Advanced Reporting: Design and develop dynamic dashboards (using Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik) to visualize data trends for executive stakeholders and operational teams.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all data handling and analysis procedures strictly adhere to federal guidelines, OMB directives, and agency security protocols.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to define data requirements and translate complex data findings into clear, concise recommendations.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in data collection and reporting workflows and implement automated solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation and data dictionaries to ensure system integrity and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL for data querying and Python or R for statistical analysis. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is highly desirable.
- Visualization: Proven expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik Sense.
- Certifications: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is a plus; PMP, CAPM, or relevant data analytics certifications are preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
