Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Data Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies for federal reporting requirements.
- Develop Interactive Dashboards: Build and maintain visualizations using Tableau and PowerBI to present complex data in an accessible format for stakeholders.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to strict federal standards, including FedRAMP and OMB guidelines, ensuring all data handling processes are secure and compliant.
- Generate Strategic Reports: Create detailed analytical reports and presentations for executive leadership, translating technical findings into strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with subject matter experts and IT teams to define data requirements and optimize data pipelines.
- Maintain Data Integrity: Audit data sources regularly to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all federal databases.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation; strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik).
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of federal acquisition regulations, security clearances, and data governance frameworks.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex data to diverse audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and propose innovative solutions.
