Responsibilities
- Analyze complex system requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development teams.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable software solutions that meet federal compliance standards (FISMA, NIST).
- Conduct thorough system audits and performance tuning to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security engineers, data scientists, and project managers.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and developers.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party software integrations.
- Document technical architecture and create user manuals for end-users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting for government or defense sectors.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder presentations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret/Top Secret).
