As a Federal Data Analyst, you will serve as the bridge between raw data and strategic policy decisions, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and security standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large volumes of federal and agency data to ensure high-quality analysis.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Conduct statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in datasets.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for government stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data security protocols and compliance regulations (e.g., FISMA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data pipelines and improve reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and data manipulation.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or QlikView).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance (e.g., Secret or Top Secret).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
