Responsibilities
- Analyze and visualize maritime/air border security data using SQL, Python, and Tableau
- Develop predictive models for threat detection and resource allocation
- Collaborate with CBP, TSA, and Coast Guard leadership on strategic reporting
- Maintain compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Lead cross-functional projects with 10+ stakeholders
- Mentor junior analysts on data governance best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years federal/government data analysis experience
- Expertise in SQL, Python (Pandas), and visualization tools
- Active government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with DHS/CBP data systems and reporting protocols
- Strong statistical modeling and machine learning skills
- Experience with geospatial data analysis for border security
