Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal healthcare data using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (HIPAA, FISMA, and 21st Century Cures Act)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize veteran service delivery metrics
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling visualizations and narratives
- Implement data quality protocols and maintain secure data infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal or government data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Tableau or Power BI certification with advanced dashboard creation skills
- Familiarity with federal healthcare data systems (Vista, MVI) preferred
- Top Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Expertise in data visualization and storytelling for non-technical audiences
