Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Federal Data Analyst to join our mission-critical team in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming raw government data into actionable intelligence that supports decision-making for federal agencies. You will leverage advanced statistical methods and visualization tools to uncover trends, optimize performance, and ensure strict compliance with federal regulations.

Responsibilities
- Collect and Clean Data: Gather, integrate, and cleanse large, complex datasets from various federal sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Data Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards (using Tableau, PowerBI, or SAS) to present complex data findings to senior leadership and program managers in a clear, understandable format.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical modeling and trend analysis to predict outcomes and support strategic planning initiatives.
- Report Generation: Prepare comprehensive written reports and briefings that summarize findings, highlight key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable recommendations.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere to strict data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and ensure all data handling practices comply with federal standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and federal clients to understand data needs and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection processes and improve overall data governance frameworks.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorās degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field. Masterās degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred; willingness to obtain clearance is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and ETL processes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to detect errors in data and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
