Responsibilities
- Data Acquisition & Cleaning: Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various federal sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to interpret data trends, forecast outcomes, and support decision-making processes.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive, high-performance dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize complex data for stakeholders.
- Reporting & Compliance: Generate detailed, actionable reports that meet strict federal compliance standards and present findings to senior leadership.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data workflows and propose innovative solutions to optimize agency performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required; experience with SQL or Python is a plus.
- Background Check: Must be willing and eligible to undergo a thorough federal background investigation (e.g., Secret/Top Secret clearance process).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
