Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets related to critical infrastructure security and border protection initiatives
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and federal reporting tools
- Ensure data compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST frameworks) and privacy standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support homeland security operations and threat assessments
- Develop predictive models for risk analysis and resource allocation optimization
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control and documentation procedures
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional stakeholders as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one statistical programming language (Python/R)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Basic understanding of federal data governance principles
