Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for federal stakeholders using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal security standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Document data processes and maintain metadata repositories
- Participate in continuous improvement of data governance frameworks
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise visualizations and summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python/R preferred)
- Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail
- U.S. citizenship (required for federal clearance)
- Ability to pass background investigation and obtain security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
