Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and statistical modeling to support defense operations
- Create interactive visualizations and dashboards using Tableau for executive decision-making
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and classification standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to develop data-driven strategic recommendations
- Document methodologies and maintain audit trails for all analytical processes
- Present findings to senior leadership in clear, actionable formats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal data systems and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with large-scale datasets and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
- Familiarity with DoD data structures and reporting frameworks
