Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret complex datasets from various federal sources and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data privacy, security standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST), and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Create comprehensive reports and executive summaries to communicate findings to senior leadership.
- Stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices in the federal sector.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with data warehousing technologies (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or SQL Server).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Department of Defense security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
