Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal privacy regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to design scalable data solutions for national security initiatives
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise, data-driven briefings
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines using AWS/GCP cloud technologies
- Lead ad-hoc analysis projects supporting emergency response and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal government or regulated industries
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret eligibility required)
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with DoD data architecture and compliance frameworks
- Proven ability to translate complex analyses into executive-level recommendations
