Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and intelligence gaps
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for federal compliance reporting
- Create interactive visualizations (Tableau/Power BI) for executive briefings and congressional submissions
- Ensure adherence to federal data standards (FISMA, HIPAA, NIST) and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on joint data initiatives and threat assessments
- Document methodologies and present findings to senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal data systems (e.g., DHS, FBI, or DoD platforms)
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain Secret level clearance)
- Proven track record with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks and compliance requirements
