Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal healthcare, benefits, and demographic datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, HIPAA, and OMB guidelines)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions for veteran services
- Document data methodologies, validate findings, and present insights to stakeholders
- Monitor data quality and implement continuous improvement processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal or healthcare data analysis with security clearance
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling techniques
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal reporting requirements (VA, CMS, OMB)
- Strong problem-solving ability with attention to regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical insights for non-technical audiences
