Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical methods
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for agency stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive visualizations
- Implement data quality control frameworks for federal datasets
- Support audit readiness through documentation and governance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal data compliance standards
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R
- Advanced knowledge of visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with large-scale federal datasets (USDA, CMS, etc.)
- Active security clearance preferred
- Certification in data governance (CDMP) or analytics preferred
