Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal data security standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements
- Present findings to stakeholders through visualizations and executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity across VA systems and databases
- Stay current on federal data governance regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with federal data systems
- Expertise in SQL, Python (Pandas), and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of VA healthcare data structures preferred
- Familiarity with federal reporting requirements (e.g., OMB guidelines)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
