Responsibilities
- Analyze and visualize large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and Tableau
- Ensure compliance with federal data security standards (NIST, FISMA)
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for agency stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements
- Document data processes and maintain data dictionaries
- Identify trends and anomalies in government performance metrics
- Present findings to senior leadership in clear executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with federal data systems
- Expert proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy)
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Familiarity with federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, PII)
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) preferred
