Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets (e.g., Census, BLS, CMS) using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop automated data pipelines ensuring compliance with federal security standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven recommendations
- Document methodologies and maintain data integrity protocols
- Stay current on federal data regulations and privacy requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal data sources and compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
- Familiarity with federal data systems (e.g., DATA Act, FedStats.gov)
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance (must be US citizen)
